90cm x 90cm

Framed in Victorian Ash
Hamilton based artist Jasmine Mansbridge spent her early years living a nomadic lifestyle in Katherine in the Northern Territory, here, her love for creating was born.
Her bold, geometric contemporary paintings are alive with vivid colour and energy and are a testament to her seriously outgoing personality.
"When in Rome" explores themes of identity and belonging, with the visual influence coming from Jasmine's current immersion into the history of the Roman Empire, it’s various players and its Architecture. The doorway in the painting represents the ability to step in and out of parts of your identity and to assume different roles at different times.
