Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to spend $5,000 up front to obtain my redeemable $500 appointment fee?
No, it will be a work in progress situation and once you have reached the $5,000 we will deduct the $500 appointment fee off your purchase.
If I make progress purchases over time are we able to keep in touch with ideas for further products and ideas?
Yes, at Fenton & Fenton we're all about creating ongoing relationships.
Are you able to come back to my home once all of my products are delivered together?
Yes, we can arrange to be at your home for the bump in to organise the placement of all products.
Are you able to give me some advice on my existing pieces, should I incorporate these pieces into products I purchase from fenton & fenton? And can you suggest placement of new and existing pieces?
Yes, we're happy to give you advice, as quite often there are furniture/art pieces that will actually sit better in other areas of your home than where they currently are.
How can I create a Fenton & Fenton look with colour? I don't want it to date.
Don’t always go with the colours that are on trend, use the shades or combination of colours that strike a chord with you. It is so important to create the right mood for your space.
I have so many areas of my house that need products and styling and I'm working to a budget. Where is it best to spend my money and what is your recommendation?
We recommend to start with the larger pieces, making a list and prioritising what is needed, for example, a sofa, dining table and chairs, a rug and art. You can then build from there, slowly progressing down the list with all of the finishing and finer detail pieces.
What is the best position for my artwork, should it be hung at eye level?
We often recommend, especially if it is one piece of art, to hang it at a medium eye level height, around 170cm, it can then be enjoyed properly and be well integrated with the rest of the room.
My house feels sparse, bare and unfinished, how do I make it feel more like a home?
We suggest displaying items that have real meaning, fror example, an old chair that has been passed down that could be re upholstered, or personal objects that have been collected over time. All of these can be teamed with contemporary pieces from Fenton & Fenton. We also recommend incorporating beautiful indoor plants.
I want that eclectic Fenton & Fenton look but don’t know how to achieve it, what are your recommendations?
We recommend to mix patterns and colours that all speak to each other. Always start with a trophy fabric or piece of art. You will then get the mix right by combining different scaled pattern, being small, medium or large.
