Born into a family of talented musicians, Casey Burrill learnt to express herself through art before she could walk. Based in Geelong, living near the ocean provides inspiration for her vibrant, textural works. Casey’s playful use of colour seems to dance on the canvas with a sense of freedom and movement.
"Sun and Romance" embraces movement lines and earthy colours such as Australian sap greens, emeralds, sapphire blues and rusty tones. The ocean features alongside the sun and its warmth, as well as references to live music and whale tails subtly scratched into the paint.
