Kristen Daniels - Print - The Sun Stood Still
Kristen Daniels is an abstract artist living in Geelong. Her expressive style is defined by bold brush strokes which exude colour and vigour. Her recent works on perspex explores an unseen paragon, where what lies beneath the layers of a painting can be seen through a clean transparent surface.
"The Sun Stood Still" is a reference to the enduring light of summer. This piece relates to many attributes of the season, but mostly; the inclination of the sun as it reaches its highest point in the sky, everything the light touches and that luminous orange glow, as it continues its journey over the back fence.
