"I love the aesthetic of the old cantinas, the old bars— like my paintingThe Pulqueria, which is a type of tavern in Mexico that specialise in serving an alcoholic beverage known aspulque. I also draw on the Day of The Dead Celebration,Dia de los Muertos, in my two artworksMarigold CempasuchilandYellow Pinnata, where the Mexican marigold flower is most commonly used or Aztec Marigold, otherwise known ascempasuchilor flower of the dead. I love the old colours that depict the old bars, think Merida on the Yucatan Peninsula, like in my still life pieceMexican Rose."
