Oil On Wood
White Oak Frame
75 x 60cm

This piece was originally a part of the Spring Exhibition and is now a part of The Gallery by Fenton & Fenton, showcasing a collection of works from 15 talented artists at the first ever Affordable Art Fair in Melbourne. The globally operated fair is bringing together 50 local and international galleries under one roof, showcasing works by established artists and rising stars.

Melanie Vugich translates everyday beauty to the canvas with her celebrated still life works. Working as a fabric designer in Florence for over 20 years, Melanie’s love for creating now encompasses creating hand painted scarves, while dedicating every other spare minute to creating works at her easel.

"I absolutely love spring," says Melanie. "It's a time when I am inspired by the everyday things around me — blossoming natives, bright flowers, seasonal fruit, art books and beautiful objects. Placed together, they create colourful, happy scenes."
