Jökulsárlón (Icelandic pronunciation: [ˈjœːkʏlsˌaurˌloun]; literally "glacial river lagoon")
I closed my eyes and imagined standing on the black shores overlooking the glacial lake, the graveyard for ice that had once starred in its age-old production. With this vision as my muse I painted the grand glacier, it's ice cliffs, and the light refraction from an autumn dusk. This piece is my vision, my kaleidoscopic view of Jökulsárlón, Iceland.
