How has being a mum (or having a mum!) influenced your style?
I think having a mum has influenced my style more than being a mum. Sometimes I wake up and can't be bothered getting dressed, but my mum always wakes up in the morning, puts a full outfit on, and gets ready for the day.
My mum has iconic jewellery – I actually have a tattoo of her jewellery. Everyone stops her in the street because she's always wearing like 10 rings & bracelet stacks – so that's definitely influenced my style.
Mum uniform vs. fashion icon—how do you balance comfort and style in daily life?
For work days I always style an outfit. But then on my mum days, I seriously need to be comfy – so that I can do the housework, run after the boys, go to the park and everything in between.

What's a "mum-approved" trend you're loving right now?
At the moment I feel like mums are focusing on dressing to feel good and wearing exactly what they want to wear - colour, prints and things that make them happy. I think there's a massive shift in the ways that mums present themselves.
How do you hope your kids will remember your style one day?
This is hilarious because I said to Gus today, do you think mum's cool? What do you think dad's like?
We are always asking – are we funny? Are we cool? And he responds with a no. Hopefully one day my kids say, Mum was actually kind of cool!
What legacy, fashion-wise or interior-wise, do you want to pass on to your children?
I hope my kids remember that I always wear what I want to wear. Hopefully remembering this gives them confidence in being themselves.

What does ‘mum style’ mean to you?
Mum style is very important to me. I feel like Mum’s don’t do as much selfcare as what we should. I barely do skincare, and sometimes I'm lucky to just get a shower in.
For me, it brings so much confidence to wear what I want to wear. Styling my outfit for the day makes me feel good about myself.
Do you think personal style and interior design go hand in hand?
If you're into personal style, you're also often into interiors. My house is similar to my wardrobe in terms of colours and all that.
Would you rather have a perfectly styled wardrobe or a perfectly styled home? (Or is balance the key?)
I think balance is the key. I spend so much time at home, so I want it to be a reflection of my personal style, as well as comfy.
But if I had to choose one, I have to say like I would be choosing a really well- styled wardrobe.
