Fenton & Fenton Delivery Services 

Fenton & Fenton deliver homewares and furniture across Australia and in some instances, overseas. We use quality 3rd party transport companies and premium delivery services, ensuring special care and attention is made when handling furniture, artwork, lighting and homewares.

Delivery costs are quoted during your checkout process and any special requests must be stated at this time. Given the bulky nature of furniture, it is very important that our transport providers understand any potential challenges with delivery at your destination, specifically relating to accessibility and stairs.

Click and Collect is also a service available within Victoria, from our Melbourne warehouse at 6-8 Eskay Rd, Oakleigh South, between the hours of 8am to 3pm Monday - Friday. 

A street address for delivery must be provided at the time of placing the order, we are unable to deliver to a PO Box.

Should your delivery address change, it is your responsibility to let us know prior to dispatch by emailing hello@fentonandfenton.com.au. If your order is sent to the incorrect address and returned to Fenton and Fenton, a re-delivery fee may apply.

Re-directed delivery of an order after 2 x attempts will be returned to the sender (RTS). 

A new booking will need to be made and you may be required to pay additional freight charges. This will be advised at the time.

Fenton and Fenton reserve the right to request extra freight costs for remote/rural areas or for large/heavy orders.'

Homewares & Small Furniture Dispatch & Delivery Times

Homewares & Small Furniture includes small items that are easy to pack and send, including most homewares, rugs, dining chairs, occasional chairs, coffee tables, side tables, bedside tables, stumps, benches and outdoor furniture. This does not include bulky furniture items, artwork, mirrors and some lighting.

Homewares & Small Furniture Carrier Information 

Homewares & Small Furniture includes small items that are easy to pack and send, including most homewares, rugs, dining chairs, occasional chairs, coffee tables, side tables, bedside tables, stumps, benches and outdoor furniture. This does not include bulky furniture items, artwork, mirrors and some lighting. 

Carriers used within this service vary from Direct Freight, Capital Transport, Aus Post & DHL. 

Tracking details will be sent once an order has been booked by our Warehouse team. This will be sent as an Email or SMS. Please ensure you have checked your spam and junk mail before sending any enquiries to our customer care team. Estimated delivery date can change so please be sure to check regularly.

Furniture & Bulky Items Dispatch & Delivery Times 

Furniture, art, mirrors and some lighting and homewares are classified as bulky or ‘sensitive’ items and will take longer to ship.

Furniture & Bulky Items Carrier Information 

A specialist carrier is used to ship furniture, artwork, mirrors and some lighting and homewares that are classified as bulky items.

The customer will receive an SMS from our Logistics team to confirm the order is ready to be dispatched, along with booking details. 

The allocated carrier will then contact the customer to confirm delivery, this should be within 48hrs of receiving the SMS from Fenton & Fenton logistics.

Our ‘standard’ service is a drop-off only. You may request a ‘white glove’ service which will include unpacking, installing and removing rubbish. The white glove service may come with an extra charge.

Split Shipments 

If your order contains a product currently on pre-order / out-of-stock, you may have the opportunity to receive a split shipment. In a split shipment, stock will be received at separate times and may incur an additional fee.

Tracking Your Order 

A dispatch confirmation email or text will be sent to you including a tracking number once your order has been dispatched. You will be provided with instructions on how to track your order at this time. Please always make sure you have checked your spam or junk mail. You can then track your order or report an issue here.

Lost Or Damaged Goods 

Furniture Orders

Please inspect your furniture, artwork or lighting at the time of delivery. If there is any damage, you must contact us within 24 hours of delivery at hello@fentonandfenton.com.au.

Homewares Orders

Please inspect your homewares at the time of delivery. If there is any damage, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery at hello@fentonandfenton.com.au.

Shipping and Delivery Delays 

Delays may occur during peak sale periods where high volumes are expected. Weather or natural disasters can also affect logistics or client orders and are subject to carrier availability

Order Modification Or Cancellation Fees 

All orders that have been booked with a carrier and then subsequently modified or cancelled will incur a cancellation fee of $10.

Storage Fees 

Where customers choose to click and collect an order from our warehouse in Oakleigh South, if not collected within 7 days will incur a weekly storage fee of $25.

Delivery Requests & Re-directed Delivery 

All delivery requests will need to be passed onto the carrier at the time of booking.

Re-directed delivery of an order after 2 x attempts will be returned to the sender (RTS).

Express Shipping 

Express shipping may automatically appear as an option at the checkout for smaller items including homewares and art less than 50x50cm in size. Express shipping is at an additional cost to the customer. Express shipping is not available for larger items, including but not limited to most furniture and larger art.

Collection and Delivery of Items 

Click & Collect can be selected at the time of purchase, with collections available from our Oakleigh South Warehouse. You need to wait to be notified that your item(s) are ready for collection before heading to collect. Once you have been advised that they are available for collection, you have 7 days to pick-up. If not collected within this time-frame, you will incur a weekly storage fee of $25.

Pick up from our Warehouse

If you have requested click & collect and you have been notified that your order is ready to collect, please collect it from 6-8 Eskay Road, Oakleigh South, 3167, Victoria, between 8 am and 3 pm on weekdays. Ensure you have the right vehicle for your order's size and, if needed, assistance for loading. Don't forget to bring your photo ID and order confirmation, or a signed authorization letter if someone else is picking up for you.

Uncollected Items

If the item(s) are not collected by you, or we are unable to deliver them within 30 days after the delivery date, we will charge you for storage in addition to our right to dispose of the item(s) as "uncollected goods" pursuant to Australian Consumer Law and Fair-Trading Act 2012. If we sell the items pursuant to this provision, we will refund the proceeds of the sale to you less our costs and expenses including, but not limited to, storage charges, handling and administration fee of $200.00.

Risk and title

Risk in the item(s) passes to you:

(a) when the item(s) are collected by you or by any person or carrier authorised to collect the item(s) on your behalf; or 

(b) on delivery to the street address nominated by you (if we are appointed by you to deliver the item(s)).

The property and title of the item(s) will not pass to you until the item(s) are paid in full.
While the property and the title of the item(s) remain with us and until such time it passes to you, you must not:

(a) charge or encumber the item(s) in anyway; 

(b) grant or otherwise give any interest in the item(s) to a third party; 

(c) convert the item(s) and, if so converted, we will be the owner of the end item(s); or 

(d) sell or dispose of the item(s) and, if so sold or disposed of you will hold any proceeds of the sale or disposal on trust for us until you have paid for the item(s) in full.

Force Majeure

We will not be liable for failing to comply with our obligations in relation to any order due to any act of God, war, terrorism, strike, lock out, industrial action, fire, flood, drought, storm, or other event beyond our reasonable control.

Liability

We will not be liable for:

(a) any costs or losses suffered by you including any consequential loss, damages, or loss of profit and as result of any defects in the items or any failure, malfunction, breakdown, or deterioration of the items purchased; and/or 

(b) any cancellation of an order by us or any delay in or failure of delivering the item(s) and any change in the law that becomes effective after an order is placed, which may affect the item(s) supplied. 

In any event our lability will be limited to the lesser of actual damage to the item(s) and the price of the item(s).
