Rebecca Fletcher

Rebecca Fletcher is a Melbourne/ Naarm based emerging artist working in figurative oil painting. Her contemporary portraits explore themes of womanhood, identity and resilience, centering strong female protagonists through bold colour and simplified form.

Holding a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Rebecca began her career in graphics before spending almost two decades in the fashion industry, working across Textiles, Design and Buying. This background continues to influence her practice through an intuitive use of colour, composition and use of pattern. Her work draws on the emotional landscapes of motherhood and the quiet strength of women, creating paintings that celebrate resilience and connection.
