All our dhurries are flat woven rugs designed in Melbourne. They are handmade on horizontal looms by skilled artisans using the finest quality Indian cotton. A flatweave dhurrie with a thin profile and no pile is perfect for those high traffic areas, like hallways and busy living areas.

To enhance the functionality of your dhurrie, you may like to consider an underlay as an option. This will add softness and help to prevent & dhurrie creep on hard floors. It is slightly tacky, approximately 4mm thick and the dhurrie is simply laid over it, preserving its reversibility.
