Artist Statement: 
I am curious about strong shapes and it was important for me to capture these within all the works. Gestural and textured paint application helps me find the form and give definition, I played with a number of colour palettes, rich earth tones played against khaki green and warm blues for the portraits, magenta and pink on the nude.
