ARTIST BIO

DGianna Studio

Danielle, known as DGianna, is a Melbourne-based multidisciplinary artist specialising in repurposed textiles, expressive artworks, interiors, and furniture.A self-taught creator with a background in fashion design, her work is bold, intuitive, and deeply inspired by the raw potential of materials.

Her signature aesthetic—fluid drapery—emerged from an experimental, spontaneous approach to design. She finds inspiration in nature’s organic formations, bodies of water, textures and an eternal quest for beauty, translating these influences into sculptural, one-of-a-kind pieces. Playful yet refined, her work embodies the paradox of spontaneity and structure, blending free-flowing textures with durable, grounding forms. From wearable art to sculptural lighting, interiors and furniture, her process is rooted in experimentation and surrender, allowing the material to fall as it needs—an intuitive balance between material and form.

Sustainability remains at the core of her work, repurposing textiles in unexpected ways to breathe new life into forgotten fabrics.

Her distinctive designs have been showcased in multiple Melbourne galleries, commissioned by leading interior designers, and featured inVogue Living. Her pieces are sought after for editorial shoots and retail campaigns, solidifying her presence in both the art and design worlds.
