Denikka Greaves

Denikka Greaves, known as By. Denikka, is an artist based in Patho, Victoria, on Yorta Yorta Country. A self-taught artist who balances her creative practice alongside her work as a Podiatrist. Denikka’s worlds exist at opposite ends of the spectrum, one grounded in precision and care, the other in colour, intuition, and creative expression.

Known for her bold use of colour, playful compositions, and expressive hand-painted works on canvas, she works primarily with acrylic and pastel. Her art explores the small joys found in nostalgic moments and the unexpected details of everyday life.

Drawing inspiration from sun-drenched landscapes, coastal culture, mid-century design, and the warmth of the California's golden age. Denikka creates artworks that balance fun with a refined sense of design. Her paintings are filled with character, movement, and subtle moments of humour.
