Edwina Etheridge

Edwina Etheridge is an Australian visual artist living on the Gold Coast, on Yugambeh Country. Originally from Sydney, she spent over a decade working in England and travelling throughout Europe, experiences that continue to shape her artistic vision.  

Etheridge studied at the National Art School in Sydney, before completing a degree in Fine Arts at College of Fine Arts at UNSW. 

Working across ink, pastels, watercolours, acrylics, and oils, Etheridge draws inspiration from the human form, nature, and moments of everyday life. Her practice embraces both abstraction and impressionism, exploring how colour, texture, and form can evoke emotion and create a sense of place. 

Etheridge is especially drawn to the energy of vibrant, layered colour. Through experimentation and an intuitive approach, Etheridge seeks to create works that are both visually compelling and deeply felt.
