Artist Statement:
The Forest Collection emerged in the middle of spring, a time when I had never felt so much green surrounding me. I breathed it in - clean, fresh, alive. From my studio window, the long grass and trees glowed into my space, and without thinking, I began to paint and draw. It felt like a kind of renewal. The days shifted between bright and overcast, the sky often a soft white, and that wild spring wind moving through everything.
