Artist Statement:
These works are a continued exploration into the experiences of womanhood and motherhood. Two works focus primarily on a yearning for physical and mental space, for a stillness and calm that can only exist when we’re free from watching eyes.
The other two play with the concept of overlapping experiences – moments felt in isolation that are actually universal experiences. They’re a cascade of motion and stories that interlink and dissect one another.
