ARTIST BIO
Andy Staley
Born and raised in Noosa, Andy Staley is a professional photographer who has made a name for himself with an extensive portfolio of beautiful nude portraiture and a unique approach to surf photography.
His images speak to his search for a visual representation of the peace Andy feels when he is enveloped in water. They are fluid, calm, natural and graceful; shying away from focusing on just the subjects, the work leads the eyes on a journey into Andy’s underwater world.
Just like the fleeting moments he captures, Andy creates extremely limited numbers of the images he creates, ensuring that only a handful of people can ever experience the beauty of each individual image, and therefore deepening the personal connection to them. As easy as they glide through the water on surfboards, or elegantly nude, Andy manages to give us - the viewer - a small window into his beautiful mind.
