Tegan Franks

Tegan Franks is a Northern Beaches–based artist whose practice is deeply informed by her coastal surroundings and international travels. With a lifelong passion for creativity, she approaches her work with a distinctive sensitivity to atmosphere, emotion, and place.

Tegan’s paintings capture the essence of summertime by the sea, expressed through an evocative, pared-back style. By intentionally
stripping away detail, she creates nuanced, atmospheric works that invite viewers to connect with the calm, nostalgia, and serenity of beachside living.

Based in Newport, where she lives with her husband and four young children, Tegan’s work has found homes across Australia and abroad. Her pieces have been featured in publications including Real Living, Frankie, Art Edit, and Hunting for George. Her art also appears on the walls of the iconic, newly renovated Bondi Icebergs in Sydney.
