Treat Mum or Mother Figure to Ellie’s celebratory recipe of indulgent homemade waffles with figs & berries.
Makes 4-5 Waffles
Ingredients:
1 Cup (250g) of All Purpose Flour
1 (generous) Tablespoon of Caster Sugar
1 Pinch of Salt
2 Teaspoon of Baking Powder
2/3 Cup of Milk (Full Cream)
Dash of Vanilla Essence
2 Large Eggs
75 grams of Unsalted Butter (melted)
Toppings:
Figs
Berries of your choice
Maple Syrup
Method:
1. Whisk the dry ingredients in a dry bowl.
2. Add eggs, milk & vanilla to the bowl. Mix together to combine.
3. Add in melted butter & mix.
4. Heat up waffle maker
5. Add batter into waffle maker & cook until golden brown
6. Serve on Wabi Sabi Plate & add toppings
