It’s a family affair at the Spicers this Summer and coming Christmas. Join us as we travel to Whitney's home in Manildra, New South Wales, where the artist is ringing in the festive season with her husband Tim and three little boys; Finley, Teddy and Darby.
What does Christmas mean to me
Christmas is all about family. Living interstate from my family means Christmas becomes a holiday away from home for us. We take the time off work and travel North to spend Christmas and New Year's at Mum & Dad's.
My Birthday falls on the 27th, so it is special to spend that time with my sisters. Tim & I got married 10 years ago on New Years Eve, which is also my Mum & Dad's wedding anniversary. So it really is a big week of celebrations for our family.
My favourite Christmas tradition is
On Christmas Eve we all get new PJ's. It feels really special to wake up Christmas morning in our gorgeous new PJ's and sit around the Christmas tree with a cuppa, exchanging gifts.
A special decor piece I’ll be incorporating this Christmas Day is
My Sour Plaid Tablecloth will take centre stage on the Christmas Table. Mum started planning the table decor as soon as it was announced that the borders would be opening.
My sisters and I help Mum plan out the lunch menu for Christmas Day, which I'm sure will include plenty of seafood, and Nan's famous trifle.
I am happiest when
My family is all together. We are all so excited to see each other again.
